Lady Gaga Puts Sparkle In The Pride Rainbow For Stonewall Performance



Lady Gaga is one of those women that can’t help but be admired. Extremely courageous, outspoke, and trend-defying, she had the entire world tranced since we can remember. Always vocal about he love and support for the LGBTQ+ community, Gaga stepped up with full Pride to instill cheer in one of her most supportive communities. Today the Stonewall Day celebration commenced on the 50th anniversary of the event that is said too had ignited the LGBTQ liberation movement. With a surprise performance from Mother Monster, she inspired those chanting singing along to her many beloved hits.  “Look around you. Look at what you have done,” Lady Gaga told the full house. “You are the definition of courage, do you know that?”

Although her catchy Lyrics are on of many that’s appreciated, there’s no look like a GaGa look. Like for example, her FOUR outfit changes at The 2019 MET GALA, so showing up for Pride was in style was a true no brainer. Wearing custom Versace, her rainbow rhinestone boots, colorful tassled symmetrical cut-off shorts, and color-blocked waist grazing denim jacket was the perfect way to be cool and festive. She finished the look with a cool Versace beret and low-key circular shades with a colorful palette of eyeshadow to match the event and hand. She was joined on stage by Versace Creative Director and friend Donatella Versace, whom both admired and honored the ecstatic crowd for continuing the fight for equality. Alongside was Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera whom she thanked for their fearlessness that in continuing to pioneer the revolution. Closing the set with an important message, “Love each other raise your voice and my gosh, don’t forget to vote!” Something we all mustn’t forget.
