Beyoncé Inks Deal With Adidas For Athleisure Line Re-Launch

What’s just as big as the biggest entertainer in the world? Their clothing line. When we first got word of Ivy Park by Beyoncé in 2016 we all immediately began throwing our coins wherever The Park would catch them and it looks like the Beyhive is about to go full circle. Today news released that Beyoncé is collaborating with German Sportswear brand, Adidas, on a joint venture of athletic-wear. The news come as a quick video showcasing the three brands with outpouring comments of excitement. Queen Bey will serve as the Creative Director for a completely new Brand that will include both apparel and footwear ranging from everyday to performance pieces. In a press release, the brand which doesn’t have a name just yet, is missioned with “the importance of women in leadership” and “empowerment.”

In addition to the new brand, Bey will also be re-launching her personal Athleisure brand, Ivy Park, under the three stripe umbrella. After previously hosting with Topshop, the international Superstar will retain full ownership of her Ivy Park brand. “This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said of the team-up. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth, and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to relaunching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven,            dynamic leader.”
